Tethered Balloon Rides

Have you ever wanted to ride in a hot air balloon? Here is your chance to get a taste of what it is like. Midwest Balloon Rides will be providing tethered balloon rides for a cost of $20 per person.  

 If you have a disabled child OSF Healthcare has graciously offered this unique opportunity to take your child up in a hot air balloon. Rides must be scheduled in advance by contacting:

Midwest Balloon Rides has a  specially designed basket that has a clear door, which allows easy  access and a clear view from a seated position during the ride. In addition to the door, the basket has a harness system that safely  secures the wheelchair to the floor and side of the basket.
